WORLD CUP

The first ever Table Soccer World Cup took place in Hamburg, Germany, May 25-28,.
20 national teams, made up of 200 of the world’s most elite foosball players from 4 continents competed for the World Cup title.

France ended on the 4th place after a furious duel with the US team in quarterfinals.

As the next World Cup will take place in 2010 in Johannesburg, South Africa, the FFFT is looking for sponsors to support the French national team if they qualify for this major event.

Knowing the budget will be next to €15000, this will be done with the participation of FFFT’s partners and the help of its own members. The solidarity of the players and members of the French Team will also be put to contribution.

These propositions will be submitted to the FFFT's Executive Committee on June 30th.
