Table soccer at the Olympic Village

The Beijing Olympic Village opening ceremony was held at 9:17, on 27th July 2008.

Liu Qi, CPC Central committee, Beijing Municipal Committee Secretary and President of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee; Chen Zhili, Vice-President of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee and head of the Beijing Olympic Village attended the village opening ceremony, as well as other prominent figures.

The Olympic Village is the biggest non-competition arena. It is Located at Beijing north and south central shaft north part and also is the main part of Beijing Olympic park. It occupies a land area of 660,000 square meters, and the north close to the Olympics forest park.
It can provide guest rooms for more than 9000, and can hold 17000 people simultaneously.

During the Olympic Games, the China Baby-Foot Association (CBFA) will organize various competition activities for the athletes, including table soccer, air hockey, shuffleboard and billiards.
