Signing of Memorandum of Cooperation in Armenia
During the 2023 World Series Bonzini, the Vice Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Karen Giloyan, the President of the Armenian Table Football Federation, Gor Avetisyan, and the President of the International Table Soccer Federation, Farid Lounas, signed a tripartite memorandum of cooperation.
This memorandum signifies a significant step towards promoting and developing table soccer in Armenia. The collaboration between the government, the national federation, and the international federation aims to enhance the participation, awareness, and overall growth of table soccer within the country.
An important part of the agreement will focus on the development of table soccer among children, with the implementation of the "100 Foosball Tables for Schools" project, which is set to launch in Armenia.
The "100 Foosball for Schools" initiative aims to introduce table football as a recreational and educational activity in schools across Armenia. Through this project, foosball tables will be distributed to various educational institutions throughout the country, providing children with the opportunity to engage in the sport and experience its benefits first-hand.
