Romania withdraws from the World Cup
32 Men's teams and 20 Women's teams have been selected to take part in the World Cup.Other countries are currently on the waiting list.
Due to Romania’s withdrawal from the Men’s and Women’s events, Algeria who was first on the waiting list (after number 1 on the list Costa Rica informed us they would not send teams to the World Cup) will now take Romania’s place within the groups where the 2 Romanian teams had been drawn.
Thus, the Algerian Men’s team will compete in Group F, whereas their Women’s team will compete in Group C.
