OFFICIALS' CLINIC

The first official clinic in Argentina will be held on Saturday 18th March from 4pm to 5.30pm in "Juventud de Bernal Sport Club"

Daniel Juarez, Regional Referee and Sport Director of the South American Confederation of ITSF will lead the Official Clinic.

It is opened to all the licensed players in Argentina who would like to know more about the ITSF rules and want to become referees. We'll follow the ITSF Official's Clinic Instructional Manual but we designed new multiple choice tests.

Education: The trainingconsists of teaching common rules and identify infractions as well as the procedures for stopping play to make calls. The focus will be on the importance of being sufficiently knowledgeable of the rules, being able to quickly recognize violations and to be firm and confident when enforcing penalties.

Testing: After the Clinic, a written test will be administered to determine if the candidate has sufficient knowledge of the rules. Candidates who achieve a 75% score or higher on the written examination will be accredited as ‘Assistant’ level officials.
