Mr Lehmacher's new table
It will however be used, as planned, during the World Championships in Saint-Vincent, Italy, on November 3-5, 2006, and in order to give players a chance to play on the new table before the World Championships, a motion was approved by ITSF Executive Committee on March 9, allowing any ITSF member federation to organize a tournament on Mr Lehmacher's new table, with the following conditions:
- that the tournament be submitted to the EC's vote by March 31 at the latest and
- that in order not to disturb the existing ITSF Tour calendar, the tournament do not take place before mid-June.
Following these motions, a Master Series tournament on that table was submitted by Tim Ludwig from the German table soccer federation to the ITSF Executive Committee who accepted it by a majority of votes on March 27.
