Meetings with national delegates abroad

In Canada, he met with the Executive Committee of the Canadian Federation to have a better understanding of the situation of table soccer in that country.


In the United States, Mr Lounas met with Jim Stevens, from Inside Foos, to talk about a possible cooperation between ITSF and Inside Foos in the near future.

There, he also had a meeting with Joe Ueno, President of the Japanese Federation, to discuss the organization of table soccer in Asia (current federations, groups of players wanting to create national federations, etc.)


In India, the national federation is in the process of developing table soccer in their country by promoting it as a school discipline. Mr Lounas visited several schools.







Right now, they have about 3500 players (males and females) in 40 schools in different State Units. Indian delegates had many questions for Mr Lounas in terms of organizing tournaments, purchasing tables for schools, etc.


Finally, in South Africa, talks focused on the development of table soccer in Africa and on the organization of large international tournaments. The first of these is scheduled to take place in Johannesbourg in August.




Mr Lounas will be going to Cameroon next week (February 22 to 25), where he is expected to provide advice on the development of table soccer in that country.
