Major events in India

The Table Soccer Federation of India held its National Championships on February 2nd and 3rd, in Memory of Indian Former Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi.
Punjab was awarded the women's trophy while Chandigarh excelled in the boys section and claimed the overall trophy.


For several years, table soccer has been practised as a regular sport in Indian schools. As a major move forwards in the development of our sport in India, table soccer has been included in a major university event, the Panjab University Campus Sports Fest, together with such sports as basket-ball, badminton, shooting and more. This mega sports event will take place on February 15th, 2008, at one of the most popular universities in India, the Panjab University, which has adopted table soccer in its sports program.
