Japan Open in Tokyo - Oct. 4-5
The Open Singles winner of each International tournament is automatically qualified for the World Championships taking place in Nantes, France, January 8-11, 2008, and significant points (100 for the winner) are to be earned towards the ITSF Rankings.
Belgian Frédéric Collignon won the Las Vegas event for the third consecutive year, while UAE's Miqdad Suwaidi came first in the Open Singles category at the Asia Open for the second time.

Deadline for pre-registration: September 30th
Participation is restricted to a set number of players, however whoever pre-registers by the deadline will take part in the event even if the number of registered players exceeds the quota.
