ITSF World Series by Bonzini to run on Coral, the new tournament software
In recent years, technology has significantly impacted the world of sports and we feel it’s time that we start improving the way we use technology in table soccer as well. For this we have been working on an innovative software, designed to streamline the tournament process, from scheduling games and tracking scores to managing registrations and communicating with participating players and teams; which we affectionately call Coral.
With its user-friendly interface and customizable features, Coral has the potential to transform the way tournament organizers plan and execute tournaments, making the process more efficient, organized, and enjoyable for all involved and the way federation managers run their activities, administer memberships, organize their tours, leagues, competitions and rankings.
We are proud to announce that Coral will make its official major tournament debut at this year’s ITSF World Series by Bonzini.
What does this mean for the players attending the World Series?
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time participant at a World Series, Coral has the potential to transform the way you experience the tournament, making the process more efficient, organized, and enjoyable.
The playing formats are going to be the same as usual, and they are communicated in the info package. There will still be player stations with tablets all around the venue that players can introduce match results as well as view the state of the tournament.
In addition, the players can have access to the same features as on the player stations and other enhancements, simply by logging into Coral on their mobile phone browser. In this new digital interface players will be able to see the tournament’s progress as well as add scores to the matches they’ve played, see their previous and upcoming matches as well as other players’ matches at their leasure.
What does this mean for the organizers of the ITSF World Series by Bonzini?
As you may know, organizing a major table soccer tournament can be a daunting task, with so many moving parts to manage and coordinate. From scheduling games and tracking scores to communicating with participating players and teams, it can be a real challenge to keep everything organized and running smoothly.
Coral aims to revolutionize the way table soccer tournaments are planned and executed. The tournament staff will be working with its user-friendly interface and customizable features making the process more efficient, organized, and enjoyable for all involved.
Being the first major tournament that is going to be held in Coral, some small issues may arise. We want to ensure everyone participating that there is a team of people moderating the software during the tournament who are constantly on the lookout for any mishaps. In the unlikely case that small issues may arise, we would like to appeal to all participants understanding and help in detecting and isolating these errors. At the Tournaments desk we will have people to which participants can report any problem they’re experiencing with Coral; which will be addressed immediately.
How does a player get access to their Coral account?
It is important that all players who attend the Bonzini World Series have active Coral accounts.
Players that are members of the French Federation (FFFT) or the British Federation (BFA) already have active Coral accounts.
Players that are members of other national federations will have to communicate their email addresses to their national federation’s representative who is in charge of registering them for the ITSF World Series by Bonzini. In the week before the tournament details on how to access the account will be sent to all participants via email.
We are thrilled to run the ITSF World Series by Bonzini on this first live version of Coral!
But this is just the beginning. Our team is already hard at work developing even more features and improvements to make this software even better. We can't wait to see the impact it will have on the world of table soccer, and we look forward to sharing those updates with you soon.
Thank you for joining us on this journey, and we can't wait to see what the future holds!
