ITSF Women's Commission

4 women from 4 different countries got together to discuss the state of table soccer as played by women and to find out how to develop table soccer among women and give it its rightful place on the international scene.
Issues discussed included:
> competition categories - Open Singles vs. Womens Singles
> fairness of treatment - women games dont get the same attention as mens, they are often scheduled at awkward times, or they take place away from the main area where few people watch them
> dress code
The 4 women who took part in the discussion were:
Alice Denmanivong (France)
Karin Ertl (Austria)
Petra Koncz (Hungary)
Camilla Lohmann (Denmark)
They have decided to work together to exchange ideas and submit suggestions to ITSF in order to make table soccer playing conditions better for women players worldwide.
Watch for more news on the Women Commission in the weeks to come.
