ITSF Sanctions

ITSF warned all federations that sanctions would be taken towards national federations who failed to control the use of their country's name, flag and national anthem, by letting a national team represent their federation in a non official world events.

In case the players who took part in that tournament did it without the agreement of their federations, we have asked each of these federations to take sanctions against their players.

If they don't take any sanctions, and after an individual vote, the following motion was accepted by the Executive Committee:

That the amount of money owed to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands by ITSF for the sale of table stickers in their country in 2007 be reduced by 15 percent (until December 31).
The money that will be saved doing this will be given to the ITSF Development Fund.
