ITSF Dress Code

The ITSF Rules Commission has been working, among other things, on a Dress Code to be implemented in all ITSF events and which specifies clothing regulations for the following groups:



1) All players

2) Seeded players at each event

3) Referees





1) All players must wear proper sporting attire when competing in ITSF events.



Acceptable sporting attire consists of warm-up jackets and pants, athletic shirts, sport tee shirts, polo shirts, athletic shorts, and athletic shoes.



Prohibited attire includes: clothing displaying profanity, tank tops, denim or jeans of any kind, as well as cargo pants, cargo shorts, form-fitting Spandex or Lycra pants and shorts.

Flip-flops, sandals and non-athletic shoes are also prohibited.

2) Seeded players at each event



Apart from a shirt bearing their name and the name of their country, the seeded players (up to 16 men and 16 women) will receive from the tournament director 2 badges showing their seeded rank, according to the ITSF World Rankings. They will wear these badges on their shirt sleeves.

To fix the badges, an 8 cm female velcro patch is needed on each sleeve, approx. 8 cm from the shoulders’ seams.

3) Referees



Referees will not only wear referee shirts.

They will also wear special badges on their shirts' sleeves that will show their referee level: assistant official, regional official, national official, international official and head official.
