First tournament organized by Table Soccer Federation of Lebanon
Table Soccer Federation of Lebanon organized last week the first big tournament in, Kleiat, Mount Lebanon, being able to attract players from several different regions of the country. The tournament was played in the traditional Lebanese wood table, and had around 60 players and competitions in doubles, singles, women and 4 different age categories.
International Table Soccer Federation was present for helping the tournament organisers, training referees and making demonstrations of playing skills. Besides that, in an effort for the common goal of national sport recognition, there was meetings with the Ministry of Youth and Sports consultants, National Deputies and the Mayor of the large city of Batroun, in the Northern part of the country.
This tournament was more than just a Table Soccer competition, since it gathered the community with several other social events: music, competitions of other traditional games, a street fair and the presence of a famous social media influencer.
