Final World Rankings

The 2008 Tour ended this past week-end with the Great Pumpkin Classic, a Master Series event which took place in Michicot, Wisconsin, USA.


The Netherlands’ Tessa Otten-Kerkhof is ranked 1st in the Women's Singles category, with Czech Republic’s Sarka Holomoucka retaining her 2nd place from last year and Switzerland’s Samantha Di Paolo placing 3rd.

In the Men’s Singles, Belgium’s Frederic Collignon retained his World #1-ranked position while Sloviakia’s Pavol Kovacik places second and Germany’s Christopher Marks third.

The Top 16 male players and Top 8 female players qualify automatically to compete in the World Championships, taking place on January 8th-11th, in Nantes, France.

Apart from these tour “points” leaders, ITSF World Event Champions and the National Champions from ITSF member countries will also compete in specially formatted Singles and Doubles events at the World Championships.
