African Open ﾖ August 19-20

The second tournament in the International tournament category will take place in the Clearwater Mall in Johannesburg, South Africa, August 19-20. It is the first ITSF tournament to be organized on the African continent.



This new ITSF tournament category features 3 tournaments this year. The first one took place in Las Vegas, USA, in March and the third one is scheduled in Tokyo, Japan, in September.



During these tournaments, players are awarded important points: 100 points to the Open Singles and Womenﾒs Singles winners.

The Open Singles winner also qualifies automatically for the World Championships taking place in Saint-Vincent, Italy, November 3-5.

During the South African event, preparations will start for the next Table Soccer World Cup, which will take place in Johannesburg in 2010.
