African Open International - Results

In the Men's Singles finals, South African Rupesh Khusal won against Italian Marcello Manganiello and won his qualification for the World Championships taking place in Saint-Vincent, Italy, November 3-5, 2006.

Full Results
During the tournament, ITSF President Farid Lounas officially announced that the next Table Soccer World Cup will take place in Johannesburg in 2010. The announcement was covered by various media at the tournament venue as well as during live interviews on the radio and on national television.
There will be 1 more tournament in the International category this year, taking place in Tokyo, Japan, September 29th to October 1st.
During these tournaments players are awarded important points and the Open Singles winner of each International tournament is automatically qualified for the World Championships.
