2006 Final Rankings

The World Rankings have been updated after the last tournament in the 2006 ITSF Tour took place in Austin, Texas, USA, on October 6 - 8.

Italy's Samantha Di Paolo retains her first ranked position in the Women's category, while US Billy Pappas has toppled from the World #1-ranked position the multi-time champion Frederic Collignon, from Belgium, who has dominated tournaments worldwide for the last several years.




These world's top table soccer players will face off in the ultimate overall competition: the World Championships Finals tournament, which will take place November 3-5 at the St. Vincent Palazzeto dello Sport, in Saint-Vincent, Italy.



In the Men's category, other top challengers include #3-ranked Rob Atha (UK), and several members of the U.S., German, and French National Foosball Teams, including: Jamal Allalou (Germany), Olivier Covos (France), Dave Gummeson (USA), Tim Ludwig (Germany), Robert Mares (USA), Terry Moore (USA), and more.



The women's side of the competition is expected to be especially fierce with Di Paolo facing Cindy Head (USA) for the first time ever. Both highly-charged, aggressive players, they'll additionally meet tough competition in Germany's Jana Daenekas, Hungary's Ivett Gyore, Canada's Moya Tielens and Austria's Verena Rohrer among others.
